Harvesting updates often refer to segments of the lake and laterals and shore cutting paths. Below are links to each segment with cutting paths marked, according to the plan approved by the DNR every few years. Descriptions of each segment's endpoints are approximate.

Montello to Causeway

Segment 1   >  Montello to Buffalo Lake Lodge

Segment 2   >  Buffalo Lake Lodge to Two Islands (north side)/Fox Road (south side)

Segment 3   >  Two Islands (north side)/Fox Road (south side) to Ox Creek

Segment 4   >  Ox Creek to Causeway

Segment 5   >  Packwaukee Causeway to just past the Railtracks

Segment 6   >  Just past the Railtracks to approx. Bluffview Drive

Segment 7   >  Approx. Bluffview Drive to Call of the Wild
