Because of the generous donations of individuals and businesses, the District is able to preserve the recreational and economic value of Buffalo Lake for the enjoyment of its residents and visitors now and into the future. These contributions help us protect and enhance the lake’s fish and wildlife, promote ecologically balanced water levels and shoreline habitat, and support research, education, and cooperation between individuals, organizations, and agencies committed to improving Buffalo Lake.
