LAKE LEVEL - Background Information
On June 18, 2020, the Buffalo Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District sent a letter through our attorneys to the Wisconsin DNR requesting modification to the Buffalo Lake water level. You can read the letter here. We'll keep you posted as the discussion progresses.
The documents listed below established the water level of Buffalo Lake that still exists today. In early 2013, the Lake District commissioned an independent review of the new dam's specifications to ensure that no changes to the control height were being made. The May 2013 report concluded that no differences existed between the two dams.
